GRTA Negotiations Update
On December 1, 2025, the District and GRTA held their third negotiations bargaining session for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 contract reopeners. The District provided a counter proposal with an increase in salary and benefits for the 2025-2026 school year.
The District and GRTA also made significant movement related to the additional open articles, including, Article X (Leaves), Article XII (Class Size), Article XIII (Teacher Safety), Article XXII (Salary), Article XXII (Fringe Benefits), and Article XXIII (Extra Duties), Article IV (Association Rights), (Title VII (Teacher Evaluation), Article XIV (Teacher’s Work Year), and Article XXIV (Peer Assistance and Peer Review (PAR).
The District and GRTA will continue negotiations on a date to be mutually selected in the future.
